A letter from the owner
Hello
My name is Amanda Bennett. I am a Licensed Optician with the Saskatchewan College of Opticians. I sit on the Professional Conduct Committee while maintaining memberships with the Opticians Association of Canada and the International Opticians Association. I graduated from the NAIT with honours while raising energetic twin boys. My family is very important to me and a huge part of who I am today.
I grew up in a small town with limited resources where my father owned and operated his business. We lived off grid for many years by harvesting energy through alternative methods such as wind power, solar energy and biodiesel. My upbringing encouraged me to develop an incredible work ethic and taught me how much you can accomplish by using your resources in the most creative way possible. With the support of my family, I was able to grow as an Entrepreneur and Optician.

I am an Entrepreneur
because I wanted to serve my community with ambition and freedom. By creating Ageless Optics, I am able to use my license in a meaningful and ethical way while respecting my patient's informed choice.
As a mother of children with disabilities, I understand how difficult it can be for children to attend traditional clinics. They can become overstimulated by clinics that are not child-friendly, surrounded by glass displays, overwhelming products/pictures, industrial lighting and other people. For this reason, I offer In-Home appointments which provide the child with a familiar, comfortable and safe environment. Ophthalmic professionals have a narrow window to correct certain visual disorders as a child grows. As we continue to experience a myopia epidemic caused by our modern lifestyle, children’s visual health is more important then ever before. I aim to create accessibility to optical care while maintaining the quality of support for each patient.
